Fantastic evening for our first official raid in FFXIV.
We cleared through the Binding Coil of Bahamut, clearing the first 4 turns with little effort, but the last turn hit us like a truck - literally. Each pull got better and better as we started to learn the mechanics, and in true SotD style, we took Twintania down with 1 minute to go until raid end.
Awesome job folks !
Don't worry Karo, we'll be doing it again especially for you

Actually, we were a bit melee heavy tonight. :)

It would probably be a little bit easier with ranged dps

Great job guys, I look forward to adding new challenge to what you now think is the easy first 4 turns. Lets see you do it with no heals :)

Sure was a challenge, DPS is always problematic on Phase 4, Lots of DoTs needed and ranged hits, but as we did on the final attempt, hitting Limit Break in that phase can drastically reduce the time spent watching everyone get taken out 1 by 1 :)

That was an inspired manover you did that got us through that phase fast. Shows LBs dont need to be used for finishers but also mechanic control.
Now the Second coils look really fun too :D
